So recently I had an amazing opportunity a few weeks ago to travel to San Francisco. I had the pleasure of helping a past client when I started Kandu Films over 3 Years ago, it was so funny because he was my very first client. When I started I didn’t know what I needed to do, all I knew was I wanted to film, I didn’t know what, I didn’t know how, but I went ahead and bought a Canon 5d Mark2, I used that for video, Had a blast on that camera,
Fast forward 3 Years later, I’m working for my previous client and it’s amazing to see how much both of our companies have grown. Kandu Films has learned a lot in what goes into a video and I myself am very grateful to all my clients and all of the aspects of filming and editing i’ve continued to learn.
Here are some pictures of our shoot with our Client Atif Bhanjee and Adele Santos-Yee
We shot this with a Panasonic GH5, Viltrox Adapter MFT-EF, with the Sigma 18-35mm Lens, and with Rode Filmmaker Kit Lapel mics.
My Client who I met through a previous owner, continued to be friends throughout the years. Personally I always loved his company, I thought the idea of Escalator hand rail advertising as GENUIS! but hey he had a goal and dream and did what he wanted, I admire that.
This is one of my first trips to take with my company outside of Texas where i’m from. This experience taught me so much in what I needed to bring in terms of gear, but also how to craft the story the client is wanting me to tell. Again the client is HIRING me not just because he likes me but because he believes in me. It’s about building relationships, keeping that network there.
Currently I’m in Post at the moment, and cannot wait to share the amazing marketing videos we made for our client RAIL EYES
